Pedestal stands for artwork and sculptures

The previous post shows some pedestal stands in GRP.   The pedestals have planters placed on top but of course you don't have to put pots on top.    They can also be used to display artwork and sculptures.   Classic style pedestals may be suitable for some sculptues but there are also simple geometric shapes and even illuminated pedestals.   As with all GRP ( fibreglass) products, these come in any BS or RAL colours plus metallics and special finishes to mimic lead, aged bronze, terracotta and stone.   With the illuminated statue of Michelangelo's David (15th february 2010: David, Marilyn and friends) placed on the classic illuminated pillar you can have a complete illuminated sculpture.   Michelangelo would have loved it!
